Datahub have helped a financial organisation turn their strategic management meeting digital.
The organisation wanted their leadership team to have strategic management meetings every two week. The challenge was, gathering all the information for these meetings was manually. An administrator collated the management pack and all the information within these packs.
This took the administrator approximately a week to collate all the information, put into the pack, and print the packs off. For a meeting that was every two weeks this was not feasible. So, the organisation had to move the meetings to once a month to help the administrator.
Datahub spent some time at the organisations head office to understand their processes and the data that they used. We proposed a solution that transformed 89% of the manual tasks to automated processes, and the data for the meetings would be digital.
To achieve this we used power Automate coupled with Power BI. In the meeting the management team used Power BI visuals instead of the printed out PowerPoint that was previously used.
The outcome was that all the meetings could be conducted every two weeks and the management packs were all digital, reducing the amount of paper being printed, reducing the time spent by the administrator collating the packs, and improving the efficiency of the processes.
With the outcome the management packs included the most up to date information as the packs contained data up until the previous day which was previously not possible.
